Meet the Staff

Rita is our Office Manager and Scheduling Coordinator.  She is the first smile you see upon entering University Chiropractic.  She is waiting to welcome you and make your experience at our office one that is enjoyable and comfortable.  She will guide you in scheduling appointments that are convenient for you and answer any questions you have regarding your appointments. 

Kate is our Insurance Billing Specialist and Accounts Manager.  She is available to answer any questions you have regarding your insurance policy.  At University Chiropractic we want to make your financial plans easy to understand and your insurance convenient to use.  Our office also offers Care Credit and affordable financial plans for cash patients. 

Isis is our Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant.  She is here to help you with your scheduling needs and to answer any questions you may have.  She will always greet you with a warm smile and caring attitude.  

Kathryn is a Certified Massage Therapist. Kathryn started her education in massage therapy in 2000 at the Body Therapy Center in Palo Alto. After working as a massage therapist at Watercourse Way in Palo Alto, she decided to study horticulture at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. In the beginning of 2009, Kathryn started school in an Asian Bodywork program at Five Branches University. She has over 500 hours of training in therapeutic Shiatsu, Swedish, Reiki, and Thai massage therapy. She looks forward to helping you rejuvenate and restore your body and mind.

Jamie is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist.  She is a graduate of the Universal Therapeutic Massage Institute in the state of New Mexico.  She has been doing massage for 3 years.  Her training includes various techniques such as sports massage, shiatsu, hydrotherapy, reflexology and Swedish massage.  In addition, Jamie specializes in pregnancy massage, deep tissue and myofascial therapy with an emphasis on the head, neck and shoulders. Her goal is to offer each person an individualized treatment to enable a sense of physical and mental relief with bits of education as needed.            LMT, #6132.

Beatriz was born in Barcelona, Spain, and is our Extra Services Assistant. Extra services include adjunct therapies such as focused stretching, manual therapy, and proprioceptive neuromuscular exercises to complement the adjustment. She graduated from Art History although aside from her passion for Art, she's always been devoted to her own personal growth through both, body and mind. She's been practising different types of Yoga for four years, as well as other body disciplines such us Pilates and Tai-Chi. All these practices have made her become aware of her body and the wonderful capacity it has to heal itself. As a result of her growing interest in Holistic Health she spent three months in Santiago de Chile learning Acupressure massage at the Caudette Duchesne Institute. She now wants to continue her education towards Shiatsu massage and Reiki.  

Dr. Marresa Jones is our Exam Doctor. She graduated from Life West Chiropractic in Hayward, California.  She will guide you through a detailed and comprehensive evaluation upon your first visit to our office.  Dr. Jones is available to educate and answer any questions you may have regarding your health and chiropractic.  She looks forward to ensuring your first visit to our office is a welcoming and friendly experience.
